Obituary
Wrela V Klinger, age 95, of Sacramento, passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Green Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Pitman.
She was born on Thursday, August 24, 1922, in Hegins, a daughter of the late William Hornberger and the late Elizabeth Hoy Hornberger.
She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.
Wrela was a seamstress in area garment factories prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church, Erdman.
She was also a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens and the former Sacramento Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband William G Klinger passed away in 1970. She was also preceded in death by her parents; by two brothers, Clayton Hornberger and Roy Hornberger; and by two sisters, Marguerite Bowman Pitts and Stella Herb.
She is survived by two daughters, Wrela E Klinger of Sacramento and Patricia D Ludwig and her husband Steve of Ashland; two grandsons, Timothy Ludwig of Buford, GA and Jeffrey Ludwig of Allentown; a granddaughter, Susan Ludwig of Hegins; and by several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Jonathan Jenkins officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial was at Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Cemetery, Erdman.
