Obituary
Teddie L Coleman, age 76, of Hegins, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born on Sunday, November 19, 1939, in Hegins, a son of the late Ray T Coleman and the late Helen Isabelle Schwartz Coleman.
He was a 1957 graduate of Tri-Valley High School.
He was a machinist for Alcoa, Cressona, prior to his retirement.
He was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins.
Teddie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and vacationing in Cape May, New Jersey.
He is survived by his wife Claire H Reidler Coleman, to whom he was married for 55 years.
He is also survived by a daughter, Christine L Deitrich and her husband Tori of Hegins; two sons, Scott R Coleman and his wife Jodi of Hegins, Todd R Coleman and his wife Donna of Hegins; three granddaughters, Kimberly Blesse and her husband Charles of Tamaqua, Ashley Coleman of Hegins, and Kelly Deitrich of Hegins; three grandsons, Ryan Coleman and his wife Natasha of Dauphin, Bradley Coleman of Gordon, and Brandyn Coleman of Gratz; two great grandsons, Landon Blesse and Parker Blesse both of Tamaqua; two great granddaughters, Kyla Coleman of Dauphin and Seraphine Coleman of Gratz; three brothers, Ronald Coleman and his wife Marcella, Garry Coleman and his wife Kory, and Larry Coleman and his wife Rachelle all of Hegins; three sisters, Darlene Kiesel and her husband Ed of Valley View, Mary Coleman of Hershey, and Ruthann Riberdy and her husband Gary of New Columbia; and several nieces and nephews,
Funeral services were held at Friedens United Church of Christ, Hegins, on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Michael C Klahr officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the church.
Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Friedens United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 57, Hegins, PA 17938.
