Ralph D "Snake" Klock ,age 65, of 647 Valley Road, Hegins, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on Tuesday, April 18, 1950, in Ashland, a son of the late Dorse Klock, Sr and the late Ruth Whetstone Klock.

He was a 1969 graduate of North Schuylkill High School.

He was employed at Bethlehem Steel, Steelton Plant for fourteen years, then worked in area coal mines, and retired from Goulds Pump, Ashland after being employed for twenty-six years.

He was a member of the Valley VIew Gun Club and VFW Post 8235 Valley View.

Snake was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors..

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a sister, Hilda Seidel.

He is survived by his wife Susan L Carl Klock, to whom he was married for 33 years.

He is also survived by three sons, Michael "Bean" D Greco of Shamokin, Aaron "Bud" D Klock and his wife Sharon of Dornsife, and Gregory "Klucky" L Klock of Hegins; five grandchildren; three brothers, William Klock of Harleysville, Fred Klock of Barnesville, and Dorse Klock of Harleysville; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 8:00 pm.,with Rev. Donald Carl officiating.

A viewing was held from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
