Phyllis E Timmins, age 88, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Penn State Holy Spirit Medical Center, Camp Hill.
She was born on Friday, November 11, 1932, in Fairview Twp, York County, a daughter of the late Guy E Stoner and the late Blanche C (Snyder) Stoner.
She was a 1950 graduate of New Cumberland High School and also attended Eastern Nazarene College, Quincy Mass.
She was a member of Christian Life Assembly, Camp Hill.
Phyllis enjoyed baking and decorating cakes. The greatest joy in her life was spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by three sisters, Goldie Harbold, Vivian Brinton, and Almeda Slaseman.
She is survived by her husband Clinton O Timmins, to whom she was married for 68 years.
She is also survived by three daughters, Denise J Peirce of Harrisburg, Dawn J Timmins of Mechanicsburg, and Deanna J Bell of Etters; a son, Clinton A Timmins and his wife Traci of Sacramento; eight grandchildren, Lynette Lee, Michelle Peirce, Candice Bostdorf, Kyle Peirce, Matthew Gross, Megan Edwards, Melinda Scheib, and Ethan Timmins; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Faye Anderson and her husband Vernon of Dillsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View.
