Obituary
Pearl M Herb, age 91, formerly of Fountain, passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont.
She was born on Tuesday, March 4, 1924, in Sacramento, a daughter of the late Maude Stutzman.
She was an inspector at the former Dana Mfg. Corp., Valley View, prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins.
She was also a member of theTri-Valley Senior Citizens.
Pearl was the true matriarch of her family.
Her husband, Russell Herb, passed away in 1980. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronald Herb.
She is survived by three sons, Gary L Herb and his wife Sandy of Hegins; Lamar R Herb and his wife Carol of Valley View, and David J Herb and his wife Carol of Hegins; a daughter, Alice M Bushong and her companion Larry Schucker of Williamstown; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 10:00 am, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating.
A viewing was held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
