Lena M Shadle, age 80, of the Tremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, formerly of Hegins, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on Saturday, August 28, 1937, in Danville, a daughter of the late Walter F Wiest and the late Thelma Masser Wiest.

She was a 1955 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.

Lena was an executive secretary for the Schuylkill County Area Agency on Aging prior to her retirement.

She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.

Her husband Roger W Poticher passed away in 1981, and her companion, Roger Romberger passed away in 2013.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Swanson and her husband Carl of Hegins, Cheryl Klinger of Harrisburg, and Karen Bressler and her husband Tommy of Hegins; a son, Barry Poticher of Millersburg; seven grandchildren, Brec Koppenhaver, Dustan Koppenhaver, Ashley Stotter, Brandon Bressler, Breanne Klinger, Aubria Klinger, and Cody Poticher; five great grandchildren, Bryce, Ashton, Grayson, Hudson, and Magnolia; a brother, Ralph Wiest of Pitman; two sisters, Jean Bixler of Hegins and Darlene Deeter of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Duane Bardo officiating.

A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at the church.

Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
