Obituary
LaDawn M Schaeffer, age 69, of Tremont, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Reading Hospital.
She was born on Thursday, May 1, 1952, in Pottsville, a daughter of the late Oliver M Shadle and the late Beatrice L (Yocum) Shadle.
She was a 1970 graduate of Pine Grove High School.
LaDawn retired from Hershey Foods.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
LaDawn enjoyed camping and spending time with her family and friends.
Her husband George C Schaeffer, Sr. passed away in 2010.
She is survived by a daughter, Angela J Bender and her husband Michael of Tremont; a son, George C Schaeffer, Jr. and his wife Michel of Tremont; two grandsons, Jaryd N Bender and Jayme N Bender both of Tremont; and a loving nephew, William K Shadle of Tremont.
Private services will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
