Obituary
Grace I. Huntzinger, age 87, of 230 Grove Drive, Hegins, passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on Thursday, October 6, 1927, in Weishample, a daughter of the late Stanley Yoder and the late Mary Moser Yoder.
She was a seamstress in several area garment factories prior to her retirement.
She was a member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Hegins.
Grace enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, crocheting, and Facebook.
Her husband James F Huntzinger passed away in 2007.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; by a sister, Marie Hamburg; and by two brothers Charles Yoder and Lester Yoder.
She is survived by a son, Jerry J Huntzinger of Hegins; three granddaughters, Daphne Webberson of Martinsville, VA, Victoria Wiest of Hegins, and Melissa Carado of Spring Glen; eight great-grandchildren, Kym, Stephen, Emily, Devin, Dominick. Quinn, Lydia, and Alissa; a sister, Gladys Maurer of Hegins; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Wednesday, February 25, 2015, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Warren Egebo officiating.
Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society at www.lls.org .
