Obituary
Diane L Behney, age 75, of Beury's Road, Ashland, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born on Thursday, May 27, 1948, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Allen F Green and the late Twila V (Schwartz) Green.
She attended the Evangelical Methodist Church, Lavelle, .
Diane enjoyed crocheting, cooking, going to church, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by a son, Donald Cinqmars, Sr.
She is survived by her husband Robert R Behney, to whom she was married for 42 years.
She is also survived by a daughter, Barbara McNealon and her husband James of Pennsburg; a son, Matthew Behney and his wife Charlene of Lehighton; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Allen Green, Jr of Pine Grove, Dean Green of Lansdowne, David Green of Ashland, and Carl Green of Ashland; a sister, Ruth Brown of Pine Grove; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Evangelical Methodist Church, Lavelle, on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Joshua Mowery officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday at the church.
Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Evangelical Methodist Church, 2875 Fairground Rd, Ashland PA 17921.
