Charles David Klinger
Charles David Klinger ,age 88 , of Fearnot Road, Lykens Twp., passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born on Sunday, November 3, 1929, in Erdman, PA, a son of the late Charles Klinger and Beulah (Hain) Klinger.
He was employed as an assembler at the Muskin Shoe Co and was employed as a janitor at Penn Reel.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Church, Erdman.
He was an avid bird watcher, loved horses and enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Klinger, and 3 sisters, Betty Erdman, Catherine Kissinger and Isabele Oxenrider.
He is survived by nieces and nephews
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Zion Lutheran "Klinger's" Cemetery, Erdman.
Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
