Obituary
Carole M Holzinger, age 77, of Hegins, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on Monday, October 9, 1939, in Hegins, a daughter of the late Roy C Coleman and the late Ioma C Ochs Coleman.
She was a 1957 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, also a graduate of the Reading Hospital School of Nursing, Prince George's County MD Community College, and the University of Maryland with a degree in health education.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a brother, Gary Coleman.
She is survived by her husband Robert E Holzinger, to whom she was married for 56 years.
She is also survived by two sisters, Marcelle E Stiely and her husband Terry of Klingerstown, and Linda S Zimmerman and her husband Carl of Hegins; a sister in law, Edna Coleman of Winchester, KY; two aunts and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Gerald Frey officiating..
Visitation was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial was made in Church of God Cemetery, Valley View.
