Obituary
Annie M Schwartz, age 86, of Bernville, formerly of State Drive, Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on Tuesday, January 29, 1929, in Berrysburg, a daughter of the late Stanford Shade and the late Lillie Shiro Shade.
She was a 1947 graduate of the former Berrysburg High School.
She and her late husband had owned and operated the former Schwartz's Pastry Shop in Gratz from 1955 to 1963.
Annie enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and was extremely dedicated to caring for her daughter.
Her husband Marlin C Schwartz passed away in 1982.
She is survived by a son, Kerry D Schwartz and his fiance Sheree Kulaga of Bernville; a daughter, Karen A Schwartz of Bernville; and a granddaughter, Katelyn E Schwartz of Bernville.
Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, 200 W Main St, Valley View, on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Garry Fowler officiating.
A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial was made in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins.
