Annetta G Troup, age 93, of Barry Twp, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Luther Ridge Nursing Home, Pottsville.

She was born on Saturday, July 12, 1930, in Barry Twp, a daughter of the late Luther V Wedde and the late Anna M (Hinkel) Wedde.

She was a 1948 graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School.

Annetta worked at Twin Valley Farmers Exchange, Hegins, prior to her retirement.

She was a member of St. John's "Kimmel's" Church, Ashland.

Annetta was an excellent baker, enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, and word search puzzles..

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry S Wedde and Boyd L Wedde.

She is survived by her husband Harvey Wayne Troup, to whom she was married for 59 years.

She is also survived by a sister, Margaret J Mitchell and her husband Edward of Barry Twp.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Bonnie Yeager officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in St. John's "Kimmel's" Cemetery, Ashland.
