Anna Mary Klouser, age 88, of Providence Place, Pine Grove, formerly of Spring Glen, passed away Monday, June 9, 2014 at Providence Place. She was born on Sunday, August 30, 1925, in Hegins, a daughter of the late David Hornberger and the late Emma Yerger Hornberger. She was a graduate of the former Hegins Twp High School. She was of the Protestant Faith. She was a member of the Tri-Valley Senior Citizens. Anna was an avid quilter; receiving awards for her work. She also enjoyed woodcarving, gardening, sewing, baking, and canning. Her husband William J Klouser, Sr, passed away in 2010. She was also preceded in death by three brothers Alvin Hornberger, John Hornberger, and Mark Hornberger; and by a sister Katherine Klouser. She is survived by a daughter, Linda E Dougherty and her husband John of Duncannon; a son, William J Klouser, Jr of Lancaster; two granddaughters Lisa A Lowe and her husband Barry of New Bloomfield and Kelly R Berger and her husband Samuel S of Duncannon; a great granddaughter, Audrey R Berger of Duncannon; and a great grandson, Ittai M Lowe of New Bloomfield. Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 11:00 am, with Pastor James God officiating, assisted by Pastor Perry Kile. A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home. Burial was made in the Church of God Cemetery, Valley View.
